A review should make uncertainty easier to see, not hide it behind a score. EmberGF treats an adult AI companion as a product with policies, controls, costs and behavior that can change.
The evidence log
We record the date, account state, visible settings and the exact question being tested. Operator claims are labeled as claims. An observed screen is not generalized beyond what it shows. Missing information stays missing.
Repeatable checks
We check consent boundaries, memory correction, notification controls, billing language, cancellation, account exit and privacy prompts. We use fictional test details and do not publish private conversations or personal data.
Commercial disclosure
A partner route can be useful to a reader, but it cannot buy a conclusion. Any commercial link is rendered only through a verified first-party route and labeled beside the action. If the route is not ready for the article locale, there is no link.
Read the practical billing guide, then test memory with the privacy checklist.
What we know / what remains uncertain
Known: This article distinguishes observed product behavior, published policy, and expert analysis.
Uncertain: AI products change quickly. Material updates are reflected in the modified date above.
EmberGF links primary sources where available, separates testing from opinion, and labels commercial relationships beside the relevant recommendation.
